Tümay Apothecary began at home, in the quiet rhythm of caring for our children.
As parents of four boys, we wanted gentle, natural products we felt completely comfortable using on their skin and in our home. We were looking for simple ingredients, no harsh chemicals, no synthetic fragrances, nothing unnecessary. When we couldn’t quite find what we were searching for, we began making our own.
What started as small batches of herbal preparations in our kitchen slowly grew into something more. Not a big brand or a trend, but a modern family apothecary rooted in ancestral plant wisdom and made for everyday life.
We are an Australian family-owned business built on the belief that nature provides so much of what we need. For generations, families turned first to plants, minerals, rest, warmth, and simple preparations. While modern medicine absolutely has its place, many everyday moments can be supported gently at home.
That is where Tümay Apothecary sits.
Our handcrafted botanical formulations are made in small batches using organic and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. They are inspired by traditional herbal knowledge and created with care, intention, and respect for the plants.
Alongside our handmade range, we also curate low-tox and TGA-listed first aid essentials. These are the practical items families appreciate alongside gentle first aid essentials for everyday bumps and scrapes and minor mishaps. Together, they form a nature-inspired family comfort cabinet that feels both grounded and responsible.
