Refund policy

At Tümay Apothecary, we take great care in creating small-batch, handmade products. Due to the nature of our products, we have the following policy in place.

1. Change of Mind Returns

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

Please choose carefully before purchasing.

2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product is:

  • Faulty or defective

  • Not as described

  • Not of acceptable quality

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos of the product

We will assess your request and offer a replacement, refund, or store credit where appropriate.

3. Allergic Reactions & Sensitivities

Our products are made using natural ingredients, however individual sensitivities can occur.

We recommend performing a patch test before full use.

We are not able to offer refunds for reactions or sensitivities unless the product is deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

4. Shipping Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers.

If your item arrives damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days with photos so we can assist.

5. Return Process (if applicable)

If a return is approved:

  • Items must be returned as instructed

  • Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty

6. Refunds

Once your refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method

  • Please allow several business days for the transaction to appear
